Temi Otedola has opened up about her marriage to Afrobeats star Mr Eazi, sharing intimate details about their relationship and the choices she has made as a wife. In a BBC interview, Temi described Mr Eazi as her “best friend” and “her person,” stressing that their bond is built on friendship, love, and mutual support. She said she could not imagine life with anyone else, adding that marriage for her is about building a future together, celebrating wins, and navigating challenges side by side. She also spoke about her decision to take her husband’s surname, explaining that it was a personal choice that felt natural and fulfilling. “It’s what I’m comfortable and happy doing, but I also respect every woman’s right to choose,” she said. On why she and Mr Eazi kept their engagement and wedding private, Temi noted that moving quietly gave them control of their story. “There’s something about moving in silence that allows you to own your narrative and share on your own terms,” she explained. Bimbo Akintola Supports Polygamy As Answer To Modern Marital Challenges

Actress Bimbo Akintola has stirred conversation by advocating for polygamy, saying it remains part of Yoruba culture and could help solve societal challenges. In an interview with Biola Bayo, she argued that the shortage of men makes polygamy a practical option, noting that many families in the past had multiple wives. According to her, the practice is not entirely outdated and could still work in today’s world. She recounted the story of a woman who encouraged her husband to take a second wife because of differences in sexual drive. The arrangement, Akintola explained, gave the first wife peace of mind and stability in her marriage. “With the way the world is going, people should embrace polygamy. If statistics say men are not enough, then why not two women to one man? It has always been part of our tradition. We grew up seeing Yoruba men with two or three wives.
