Young John Tells Critics To Stop Belittling His Talent And Efforts
Young John has called on his critics to respect his artistry, urging them to stop belittling his talent and the hard work that has gone into building his career.
Responding to recent comments accusing him of being repetitive, the producer-turned-singer stressed that anyone who doesn’t enjoy his music should simply move on instead of undermining his efforts.
He wrote:
“If you’re not a fan of my work, leave it at that! Don’t come here and water down my years of hard work!”
Young John began his career as a music producer in 2010, rising to prominence through his work with Olamide’s YBNL family. He later transitioned into singing after signing with Chocolate City in 2022.
His single “Dada” became a major hit, and the remix featuring Davido further cemented his status as a rising vocal talent in the Nigerian music scene.
