Tonto Dikeh Announces Reconciliation With Ex-Husband Churchill After Nearly 10 Years
Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has announced a surprising reconciliation with her ex-husband, Olakunle “Churchill” Oladunni, describing the reunion as a “divine restoration” after nearly a decade of public disputes and legal battles.
In a heartfelt post shared on her social media, Dikeh revealed that the years of tension, pain, and broken communication have finally given way to peace and understanding.
“Ten years of public battles, deep wounds, and pain—but God stepped in. What seemed impossible has been touched by mercy. Peace has replaced chaos, and respect has returned,” she wrote.
She credited the renewed bond to prayer, humility, and obedience to God, emphasizing that the reconciliation was guided by faith rather than human effort alone. Dikeh also expressed gratitude to Churchill, the father of their son King Andre, for choosing peace and allowing God’s direction to lead the way.
“This restoration was not achieved through strength or wisdom, but through spiritual transformation,” she added, offering encouragement to others facing similar struggles: “If you feel wounded, misunderstood, or exhausted, your story is not over. God has not abandoned you.”
Tonto Dikeh and Churchill, who married in 2015 in a high-profile ceremony, had separated less than two years later amid intense media scrutiny, public disagreements, and prolonged legal battles over custody. Their son, King Andre, had been at the center of much of the dispute.
This reconciliation marks a new chapter for the couple, with Dikeh noting that humility, forgiveness, and a shared commitment to their child’s wellbeing form the foundation of their renewed relationship.
