From Suicide to Survival Tonto shared that depression once dominated her life, leading her to attempt suicide twice. “Depression was my closest companion, and I attempted suicide twice. But God said, ‘Child, get up.’ And I did. Weak, trembling, but alive,” she recalled. She explained that surviving this ordeal taught her empathy: “Now when I see people acting from a place of pain, I don’t judge them. I intercede for them because I know what it feels like to lose yourself trying to survive.” Healing from Anger The actress also described a time when her anger controlled her life, destroying relationships and opportunities. “My anger was not power; it was pain disguised as control,” she said. Through her walk with the Holy Spirit, Tonto learned that peace and silence often hold more authority than rage. Restoration and Deliverance Tonto emphasized how returning to Christ after years of struggle became the most fulfilling chapter of her life. She shared that God delivered her from sexual immorality and restored her completely. “Celibacy has been one of the most powerful experiences of my life. It is not suppression; it is strength. Now I hear God more clearly,” she stated. Grace and Unmerited Favor She reflected on how faith has blessed her life: “Doors open before I knock. Protocols are lifted for my sake. It is not luck.
