Cloudflare Glitch Causes Widespread Outages Across Nigerian Sites And X
Several major Nigerian websites — along with international platforms, including X — experienced widespread service disruptions on Tuesday following issues linked to global internet infrastructure provider Cloudflare. Cloudflare confirmed on its service status page that it was investigating “an issue which potentially impacts multiple customers,” adding that more information would be shared as soon as available. NetBlocks, a global internet watchdog, also reported that X and many other platforms were affected by a technical fault within Cloudflare’s network. According to the organisation, the outage is not connected to any government-imposed restriction or country-level internet disruption but is strictly a Cloudflare-related technical problem.
