Burna Boy Splashes N20m On Portable

Grammy winner, Burna Boy has gifted Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable N20 million for winning the celebrity fight match against Speed Darlington. Burna Boy had earlier promised Portable of the gift if he won the match against his opponent. Portable recently confirmed this in a video he posted on his social media page. The controversial singer who was recently arrested for defamation and slander appeared at the venue of the fight wearing a prisoner’s jumpsuit. The celebrity match which was tagged ‘Chaos in the Ring: Battle for Glory’ left the opponent Speed Darlington with a dislocated shoulder after the first round. Portable won the match as well as the grand prize of 500 thousand Naira. He later revealed that Burna Boy sent him a sum of N20 million. “20 million from @burnaboygram. If you wanna be like Odogwu, can you do like Odogwu? God bless your family.” Portable shared in excitement. Fans have reacted that Burna Boy’s decision was born out of the recent rift between him and Speed Darlington.

Portable Shows Off New Look, Shaves Off Hair

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has showed off his new look after regaining freedom from the Kwara State Command of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF). Portable, in a video that has gone viral, shaved off his hair and was thanking his maker and his fans alike for standing by. Recall, a lawsuit was filed by Saheed Osupa’s management team over alleged intellectual property rights infringement and defamatory actions. Osupa’s team took legal action against alleged intellectual property rights violations and damaging public behaviour. The legal case stems from claims of intellectual property infringement and defamation. Saheed’s management team initiated legal proceedings over alleged rights abuses and public misconduct. In a trending video that informed the public of the street singer’s release, he was seen looking absolutely different. Fans soon noticed that his hair had been shaved off. Another post sighted his public apology to Saheed Osupa for his conduct so far. He remorsefully wrote: “Alhamdulilahi for everything Big Thanks to all my lovers. “ZAZUU am sorry for everything. Alleged Fraud: Osupa Prevents Re-Arrest of Portable

Nigeria fuji icon, Saheed Akorede popularly known as Osupa, on Tuesday prevented the re-arrest of Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable after another petition surfaced against him. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that legendary Fuji musician discontinued his case against Portable on Tuesday following an appeal by prominent Nigerians to settle the matter out of court. In a new development, Mr Yemi George, Managing Director of Starwood Hotels Ilorin, told NAN on Tuesday that Osupa prevailed on him not to re-arrest Portable after collecting the sum of N6.3m for a show that he did not perform. “I have obtained every necessary document to re-arrest him today (Tuesday) in order to refund my money but out of respect for the legendary fuji musician (Osupa) , he prevailed on me not to. “My company, Starwood Hotels O2 Arena in collaboration with the leadership of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) put an event together for Portable to perform but he never did,” George said. According to a document obtained by NAN, titled Petition for fraudulent and obtaining by false pretense the sum of N6.3m, the petitioners said they entered agreement with Portable on July 22, 2024, which he never respected. According to the petition, Portable was paid N6.3m to perform at the ‘Kwara Tampan Fiesta’ on Sept. 29, 2024, but failed to appear on stage at the agreed-upon time. Despite arriving over 16 hours late, he allegedly sneaked out of his hotel lodge without fulfilling his promise to perform. The petitioners claim that Portable’s actions caused significant financial loss and distress, and they are seeking a thorough investigation, prosecution, and restitution of the N6,300,000 allegedly obtained through fraudulent means. The petition was signed by Chief Olu Amusan, Governor, TAMPAN and Ayodele Demokun on behalf of Starwood Hotels 02 Arena NAN recalls that the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of Kwara command, Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, had in a statement on Sunday confirmed the arrest of Portable following a petition received from Osupa.

Portable begs as Police declare him wanted

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has reacted after he was declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command. Portable was declared wanted by the police for his alleged involvement in the assault on Ogun State government officials carrying out their lawful duties. In a series of posts on his Instagram story, the Zazu crooner denied the allegations against him, claiming the arrest warrant was meant to attack him. “I didn’t kill anybody. If anything happens to me, there will be trouble. They should post the evidence of where I fought them at my bar. They are evil people, and they are lying against me. Just kill me and let everywhere scatter,” he wrote. In another post, Portable begged the Ogun State government to forgive him, claiming he was under spiritual attack. “All this evil thing wey dey happen to me na spiritual attack. God save me. I’m facing a lot of sicknesses all over my body. I’m taking care of myself. Pain in my body. Make Ogun State government forgive me,” he pleaded.

Portable begs Ibadan fans over POP rants

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus popularly known as Portable has apologised to Ibadan fans following his burst up with his ex-lover Queen Dami. Last December, Portable and Queen Dami broke up which led to the musician berating the Oyo people, saying their houses lack Plaster of Paris (POP). The singer also accused the Late Alafin of Oyo Queen for being promiscuous, he alleged that while going through her phone, he came across the names of top fuji singers who had slept with her. Portable however made swift U-turn in a viral video on Thursday, he apologised to the Ibadan fans following the invitation by Fuji musician Taiye Current for Concert in Ibadan tonight. The Zaazu crooner, who spoke in vernacular said; “My fans in Ibadan should forgive me over the POP issue. Please don’t be angry with me. “Taiye Currency, a top Fuji musician has transfered money to me. He want me to be at his concert in Ibadan. “You guys should not be angry. “You owned me. “I’m also an Ibadan indigene. “Taiye Current has paid for the show and it is not easy to return the money. “Please forgive me.”

Nigerian Afro hip hop singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus also known as Portable has sorted for forgiveness from the Pastor he slapped at his bar last week.  Portable, in a video slapped the Pastor and also queried his audacity to preach the gospel to his customers.  Few days later, the music crooner appeared in another video walling before the same man.  In a new video, Portable was in tears, and was on his knees to plead for compassion.  The Pastor in turn hugged the musician and also joined him to plead with other preachers.
