APC Spokesperson Dies One Day After Re-Election At Lagos Congress
The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been thrown into grief following the sudden death of its Assistant Publicity Secretary, Karamo Yesiro. Yesiro reportedly died only a day after he was returned as a member of the party’s state executive at the APC state congress held at Mobolaji Johnson Stadium. The party confirmed the development in a statement released on Wednesday night by the State Publicity Secretary, Seye Oladejo. According to the statement, the news of his passing came as a huge shock to party members, especially at a time when his passion and dedication to the progressive movement were still being counted on. The APC described the late Yesiro as a loyal and committed member who remained steadfast in his support for the party’s ideals and vision. “He was a vibrant party man whose contributions to the growth and stability of the APC in Lagos State will not be forgotten.” The statement further noted that although his time in office ended unexpectedly, his humility, enthusiasm, and readiness to serve had left a memorable impact on colleagues and members across Lagos State. The party leadership also extended condolences to his family, friends, political associates, and supporters, praying that they find strength and comfort in the face of the painful loss. According to the Lagos APC, the party will continue to remember Yesiro for his commitment, service, and belief in the progressive cause.
