Super Eagles’ Frank Onyeka Celebrates 29th Year Birthday
Super Eagles’ and Brentford of England midfielder, Frank Onyeka on Thursday marked his 29th birthday. Onyeka, who is fondly reffered to as “The Tank” was born on 1 January 1998 in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, is the second oldest of five siblings. He has also received some contratulaory messages from club and the national team. “Happy birthday, Frank The Tank,” was written on the Super Eagles’ Twitter handle. “Birthday blessings to the Tank,” his Premier League club side, Brentford FC also congratulated the player. Onyeka made his debut for the national team in a friendly 1–0 loss to Algeria on 9 October 2020. He scored his first goal for his country on 16 October 2023, in a 3–2 win over Mozambique.
