Davido recently fired back at a fan who suggested he organise his fanbase for better coordination with his team. The fan urged that key fan pages work directly with his crew to create a structured setup for smoother communication. “Is there anyone in this fanbase that has direct contact to any of Davido’s team members? There’s things that we need to address abeg. Davido is doing his part — recording hits, doing strategic collabs, even handling his PR himself on social media. What are they doing?” the fan wrote. He added, “Plenty people won’t speak up, but I will, at the risk of getting blacklisted. We need a select few big accounts in contact with a responsible person from his team to coordinate and create a proper structure for this fanbase, and use it positively. Create a WhatsApp group or anything NOW.” Davido responded quickly and decisively, tweeting: “U Dey crase.” He followed up with another message, saying: “We Dey stack millions of $ … u Dey talk about group chat 😭 … FEM.” The exchange showcased Davido’s trademark blend of humor and straightforwardness. While his fanbase remains one of the largest and most devoted in Africa, his response underscored that he is focused on his music, business, and overall influence, rather than formal fan organisation.
