Actress, Idia Aisien Reveals She Spent Millions On Ex-Boyfriends Before Experiencing Betrayal
Actress and media personality Idia Aisien has shared details about her past relationships, revealing that she once spent significant amounts of money on men she dated, believing it would help build a future together. During a chat with Toke Makinwa, the Nigerian-American star explained that she often offered financial support to her partners, especially when they faced challenges in their businesses. “I spent millions on men,” she said. “I used to spend money on guys. If they complained that their business wasn’t doing well, I would give them a couple of millions. At the time, I was dating to marry, so I didn’t want my partner to struggle; I tried to help when he was trying to invest in something,” she said. She noted that her actions were guided by the belief that kindness and support in the early stages of a relationship would eventually be returned. “I believed that if you help a guy in the beginning, later when he’s better, he will help you in return, and that how you treat him is how he will eventually treat you.” However, one relationship ended painfully after she discovered that a man she had helped financially had deceived her. “There was an ex I gave money to when he said his business was down. Later, his phone suddenly stopped going through, but I later found out he had flown a popular girl to Dubai.” According to her, the man initially claimed his phone had issues, but the truth came out when someone close to her spotted him with another woman. “He insisted his phone was having issues, but one of my brothers told me they saw him with another woman and even had picture evidence. When I confronted him, he first said it was his friends who forced him to go on the trip, then later claimed it was also for business.” Aisien said such experiences have left their mark on how she now views relationships. “Betrayal in relationships is something that has happened to me,” she said. Idia Aisien first gained prominence as a presenter on lifestyle programmes like You Got Issues and Style 101 on Spice TV before later establishing herself in the Nigerian film industry as an actress.
