Bonsue Fuji King, Adewale Ayuba, Celebrates 60th Birthday

Foremost music act and Bonsue Fuji King, Dr. Adewale Ayuba, popularly known as Mr. Johnson, on Tuesday celebrated his 60th birthday. Ayuba, a native of Ikenne Remo in Ogun State took to his Instagram field to appreciate God, celebrate the new age and also thank his fans for their unalloyed support in the past years. His words; “I give thanks to God for the journey so far. from Ikenne to the world, it’s been 60 years of grace, music, and purpose. “I’m grateful for the love, the fans, the stage, the memories, and the legacy still unfolding. “Thank you for walking this path with me. This new chapter begins with gratitude, joy, and renewed passion. “Happy 60th birthday to me.” Ayuba took the music world by storm in the late 80s with a Fuji music album titled; Bubble which gained such widespread success, topping music charts for six consecutive months and winning multiple awards at the Nigerian Music Awards (NMA).

Super Eagles, Fulham celebrate Calvin Bassey at 25

Former African champions, Super Eagles and Premier League side, Fulham have celebrated Nigerian defender Calvin Bassey on his 25th birthday. Bassey, who was eligible to play for Italy, Nigeria or England at international level, turned 25 years old on Tuesday. “Happy birthday to our solid in defence Calvin Bassey. “We wish you many succeses, trophies and blessings in good health,” @NGSuperEagles wished the player on X formerly Twitter. Bassey’s club Fulham FC also took to their X handle to congratulate him, “Sending birthday wishes to Calvin Bassey.” Bassey committed his international future to Nigeria when he accepted a call-up for their 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. He debuted with Nigeria in a 0–0 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification tie with Ghana on 25 March 2022.

CAF, NFF, Atalanta celebrate Ademola Lookman at 27 

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Serie A giants Atalanta have congratulated Ballon d’Door nominee Ademola Lookman on his 27th birthday. The bodies took turn on their various social media handles to celebrate the midfield maestro.  In its congratulatory message, CAF wrote; “Wishing a very happy birthday to Nigerian superstar, Ademola Lookman!.” In a similar vein, the Nigeria Football Federation also congratulated the player.  “Happy birthday to @NGSuperEagles forward,  @Alookman_” “Lookman made his senior debut in 2015, playing as a forward for Charlton Athletic of the Championship. He signed for Everton in January 2017, where he played mainly as a winger. “Having represented England from under-19 to under-21 levels, Lookman made his senior debut for Nigeria in 2022. “On 4 August 2022, Lookman joined Serie A club Atalanta on a four-year contract for a reported fee of €15 million. Three African players are in contention to win the 2024 men’s and women’s Ballon d’Or, with Nigeria international Ademola Lookman on the 30-man shortlist for the former award.
