He also celebrates Ayuba’s legacy as one of the nation’s cherished musical icons. Since his debut as a Fuji singer at 17, Ayuba has established himself as the Bonsue Fuji King. Known affectionately as Mr. Johnson, he has remained a vital presence on the Nigerian social scene. In 1991, his album Bubble garnered numerous awards and topped the music charts for months. The President commended the multi-talented artist, who excels as a singer, drummer, and actor, and acknowledges Ayuba’s significant contributions to youth development through talent nurturing. “Today, we celebrate an icon whose talent and dedication have brought joy to generations of Nigerians and Africans worldwide. Prominient Fuji musician Abbas Akande popularly known as Obesere gifts his bandmembers house and landed property on his 60th birthday anniversary. Mr. Sharafadeen Salawudeen was the lucky owner of the house, while other members of the band got landed property for their loyalty and dedication to the group over the years. In addition, Salawudeen got the sum of N250,000 from one of Obesere’s fans who was present at the birthday bash held on Tuesday in Lagos. In a brief speech, Obesere said the gesture was to encourage his boys for their unwavering support and dedication over the years. His words; “I did this not to impress anyone but to show appreaciations to these guys. Fuji musician Obesere plans 60th birthday party

Popular Fuji musician Abass Akande populary known as Obesere is set to celebrate his 60th birthday. The party is slated to hold in Lagos. Obesere also known as Omo Rapala who was born in 1965, will be 60 years old on 20th of this month. One of the singer’s associates, Waheed Salaudeen aka Buruj disclosed this on social media on Thursday.
