Simi’s Manager Denies Divorce Rumors Between Singer And Adekunle Gold, Calls Document Fake
Simi’s manager has dismissed reports claiming that the Nigerian singer and her husband, Adekunle Gold, are divorcing.
The rumours circulated on social media through a document alleging that the couple’s marriage had “irretrievably broken down,” citing emotional, financial, and professional control as reasons for the supposed separation.
However, Vincent, Simi’s manager, described the reports as false and misleading. He pointed out several inconsistencies in the document, including the use of stage names, which he said are not legally recognised in any court of law.
“It’s fake and fabricated. First, stage names are not tenable in any court of justice worldwide, as indicated in the document. Even the suit number on the document is backdated to 2024 (SUIT NO HCL/FC/2024/0178),” he explained.
