Sabinus Recounts Painful Love Experience After Gifting Ex Lover A Range Rover
Popular comedian Sabinus has opened up about a painful romantic experience, admitting that he once lost a lover despite spending heavily on her.
Speaking during a livestream with Sandra Benede, the skit maker described love as unforgiving, saying he now understands what Peller is going through following his breakup with Jarvis.
Sabinus revealed that he once bought a woman a Range Rover out of love, only for the relationship to end afterward, a decision he said still hurts him. He urged Nigerians to show empathy toward Peller instead of criticizing him.
He said: “Jarvis has finished Peller. I have been in Peller’s situation before. Love is cruel. I once gifted a girl Range Rover because of love. She later left me. I regretted it. So nobody should blame Peller.”
The comedian’s revelation comes amid memories of his own failed marriage, which ended barely a year after he tied the knot with Ciana Chapman in a private ceremony in 2023.
