Regina Daniels Praises Parents’ Reconciliation As They Join Forces To Free Her Detained Brother
Regina Daniels has shared an emotional message celebrating her parents, Rita Daniels and Barrister Jude Ojegwu, after they reunited to work together for the release of her brother, Sammy West, who is still being detained allegedly on the orders of Senator Ned Nwoko.
The actress posted heartwarming photos of her parents in Abuja, expressing gratitude and amazement over their reconciliation after years of tension.
She wrote:
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation? They are currently in Abuja. Bro Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out — or rather, I will march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!
My father is a lawyer — actually one of the biggest back in the day, but Nigeria happened. I’ll tell you more about my father later. And my mother? She’s a powerhouse! They would do anything for their children. I love you, Mom and Dad! This is all I actually ever wanted.”
Regina’s message struck a chord with fans, showing her mix of relief, frustration, and determination. The actress made it clear she’s ready to take drastic steps to secure her brother’s freedom, insisting that his detention has gone on “way too long.”
Sources reveal that Sammy was arrested in Lagos and flown to Abuja, a development that prompted both of Regina’s parents to set aside their past differences to focus on his release.
For Regina, the situation has brought about an unexpected but cherished blessing — seeing her parents reunited and united in purpose. Her words reflected deep affection and pride as she described her father as a once-renowned lawyer and her mother as a “powerhouse” devoted to her children.
The actress ended her post by affirming that the moment of family unity she’s witnessing is something she’s always longed for, calling it “all I actually ever wanted.”
