Real Reason I Fought With My Wife Natasha In London – 2Baba
Veteran Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has opened up about personal and professional choices he says he now regrets, admitting that some moments in his life were shaped by emotional pressure and poor judgment.
The award-winning artiste made the disclosure during a recent appearance on the Mic On podcast, where he reflected on lessons learned from difficult experiences both in his career and private life. According to the father of six, there are several situations he wishes he had handled differently, especially during periods of intense stress.
2Baba also revisited a controversial incident in London in October 2025, which involved a disagreement with his wife, Natasha Osawaru, and resulted in his arrest. Taking full responsibility, the singer admitted that his actions at the time were driven by anger.
“I was angry that day. It was an unfortunate incident,” he said.
The African Queen crooner explained that balancing personal struggles with life in the public eye has often been challenging, noting that the pressure can sometimes cloud judgment and affect decision-making.
“There are so many things I wish I could rewind and do better. As a human being, there are times when you are overwhelmed or don’t make the best decisions. My thick-skin is weaker now,” he added.
2Baba concluded by saying that the experiences have made him more reflective, teaching him important lessons about accountability, emotional control, and personal growth, as he continues to evolve both as an artist and as an individual.
