President Tinubu Meets Sultan of Sokoto at State House

President Bola Tinubu met with the Sultan of Sokoto, Sultan Muhammad Sa’adu Abubakar, at the State House on Friday as part of his ongoing consultations with religious and traditional leaders.

The meeting, confirmed by Tinubu’s Special Assistant on New Media, Dada Olusegun, comes just days after the president held talks with the Archbishop of Abuja, Bishop Ignatius Ayau Kaigama.

Sharing a video of the encounter on X, Olusegun wrote:

“As part of wide consultations with Religious and Traditional leaders, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu met the Sultan of Sokoto, His Eminence, Sultan Muhammad Sa’adu Abubakar at the State House today, just a few days after meeting Bishop Ignatius Ayau Kaigama, the Archbishop of Abuja.”
