50 Cent Trolls Diddy After Sentencing, Offers To Fill In At His Miami Event

50 Cent has ridiculed Sean “Diddy” Combs in the wake of the music mogul’s 50-month prison sentence on federal prostitution charges. Shortly after the sentencing, the rapper, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, posted on X offering to take Diddy’s place at one of his upcoming speaking engagements. “Hey to whoever was booking Diddy for speaking engagement. I heard he won’t be able to make it, 🤷 I’m available! 😆” he wrote, sharing a link to his G-Unit Brands website. Prosecutors had earlier revealed that Diddy was scheduled for engagements in Miami next week. The post is the latest in a rivalry between the two that has stretched nearly two decades. Their feud traces back to 2006, when 50 Cent released his diss track The Bomb, accusing Diddy of knowing who killed rapper Notorious B.I.G. Adding to his trolling, 50 Cent had, a day before sentencing, published a mock letter addressed to Judge Arun Subramanian. In it, he wrote: “I have had an ongoing dispute with Puffy for over 20 years. He is very dangerous. Multiple times I have feared for my life.” The move continues a long tradition of 50 Cent publicly taunting Diddy, with their feud once again reignited by the sentencing.

Tolu Odukoya Reflects On End Of Marriage, Calls It Circumstances Beyond Her Control

Associate Senior Pastor of The Fountain of Life Church, Tolu Odukoya, has broken her silence on her failed marriage, describing her separation as an experience that changed her life. Speaking in an interview with Truthtable, shared on her YouTube channel, the 40-year-old pastor disclosed that many people were unaware of her marital status. “I’ll say it plainly—I’m separated. Most people don’t know, but it has shaped my life. It was circumstances beyond my control,” she said. She likened the collapse of her marriage to losing a loved one. “You don’t enter into a marriage to leave it. When your marriage ends, it’s like a death,” she explained. Despite the painful experience, Odukoya stressed that separation does not necessarily mean fault. “My ex-husband is a great man, but if God hasn’t ordained the union and you try to force it, the chances of lasting together are very slim,” she added. Odukoya recalled enduring a series of personal losses between 2021 and 2023, including the deaths of her stepmother, her father’s twin sister, and her father, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, who passed away in the United States in August 2023. She also reflected on her pastoral journey, saying she felt unqualified at first. “When the call came, I told God, ‘You see all the baggage I’m carrying, but if You want me to serve, then maybe You’ve put something in me.’ I just kept my eyes on Jesus,” she said. Grateful for her family’s support, she noted: “My siblings were amazing, my dad fought for me, and my family encouraged me. Their embrace helped rebuild my self-esteem.” Advising others, Odukoya urged people not to remain in troubled marriages just because of public perception. “Don’t stay somewhere unhealthy because of what people will say. People will talk, but they’ll move on,” she concluded. Her brother, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, now leads The Fountain of Life Church following their father’s passing, while Tolu continues to serve as associate pastor.

Mohbad’s Father Gives Lagos Attorney General 14 Days To Prosecute Wife, Nurse And Prime Boy

Mr. Joseph Oluwabamiwo Aloba, father of the late music star Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, better known as Mohbad, has petitioned the Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Lawal Pedro (SAN), to prosecute those indicted in connection with his son’s death. The petition, dated October 3, 2025, was filed through his counsel, Dr. Wahab Shittu (SAN), and submitted to the Ministry of Justice in Alausa, Ikeja. It demands that within 14 days, legal action be taken against Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi Aloba, the auxiliary nurse, Miss Ogedengbe Fisayo, Ibrahim Owodunni a.k.a. Prime Boy, and others present in the singer’s apartment at the time of his death. The petition followed the coroner’s verdict delivered on July 11, 2025, by Magistrate Adetayo Shotobi, which found the individuals complicit. The coroner ruled that Miss Fisayo, who is not a certified nurse, doctor, or pharmacist, administered three injections to Mohbad without proper medical diagnosis, describing her actions as unlawful medical practice and gross negligence. The coroner also faulted Omowunmi, describing her decision to allow treatment by an uncertified auxiliary nurse and her failure to insist on emergency or hospital care as negligent. Others in the apartment, including Prime Boy, were indicted for either inviting the nurse or failing to ensure timely hospital treatment. Dr. Shittu stressed that despite these findings, no prosecutorial steps have been taken nearly three months after the verdict. He urged the Attorney General to take immediate action in the interest of justice, or alternatively, grant his legal team a fiat to prosecute the matter on behalf of the state. He emphasized that the matter has drawn wide public attention and outrage, insisting that justice must not only be done but be seen to be done.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan Says Chibok Girls Abduction Still Haunts His Legacy

Former Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has described the 2014 abduction of the Chibok schoolgirls as a lasting and painful scar on his time in office. Jonathan spoke on Friday at the public presentation of SCARS: Nigeria’s Journey and the Boko Haram Conundrum, a memoir by retired Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor. He praised Irabor, calling him “a soldier who stood for truth and never played politics with security.” Reflecting on the Chibok tragedy, Jonathan said, “The title of this book is quite interesting. One of the major scars on my government is the Chibok Girls. As Bishop Kukah said, no plastic or cosmetic surgeon can remove it. It is a scar I will die with.” The abduction of 276 schoolgirls in Borno State triggered global outrage and the #BringBackOurGirls campaign. While some girls escaped or were rescued, more than 80 are still missing. Jonathan recounted that Boko Haram began in 2009 while he was Vice President under Umaru Musa Yar’Adua and grew during his presidency. “I battled Boko Haram for five years as President. I thought Buhari would wipe them out quickly, but they remain,” he said. He stressed that the insurgency is far more complex than commonly perceived and urged Nigeria to rethink its strategies to effectively tackle the threat.

Federal High Court Throws Out Suit Against Senate President Akpabio Over Senator Natasha’s Suspension

The Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a lawsuit challenging Senate President Godswill Akpabio over the suspension of Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. Justice James Omotosho, ruling on Friday, held that the ten plaintiffs who filed the suit lacked the legal standing, or locus standi, to bring the case. He struck out the suit, describing it as without merit. The case, filed as FHC/ABJ/CS/654/2025 by Ovavu Illiyasu and nine others, sought to overturn the six-month suspension imposed on Akpoti-Uduaghan for alleged misconduct. The plaintiffs argued that the suspension would leave Kogi Central Senatorial District underrepresented. Justice Omotosho disagreed, noting that the plaintiffs were not in a position to contest the Senate’s decision in court. Akpoti-Uduaghan was suspended by the Senate in July. She subsequently challenged the suspension, and in September, Justice Omotosho ordered her immediate reinstatement, declaring the Senate’s action unlawful. The Senate has appealed that ruling and requested a stay of execution, with the appeal still pending before the Court of Appeal.
