Ondo APC Council Boss Aladesuyi Kayode, Two Others Abducted, Ransom Demand Hits ₦100 Million
Hon. Aladesuyi Kayode, popularly known as JOTINA, chairman of the Ondo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has been abducted along with two other residents in Ilu Abo community, Akure North Local Government Area.
The family revealed that the kidnappers contacted them on Tuesday morning, demanding a ransom of ₦100 million for his release. They appealed to friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to assist in securing his freedom.

The incident has heightened tension in the community, as insecurity has been rising around Akure Airport and surrounding areas, with residents reporting sporadic gunshots and attacks in recent weeks.
The Akoko North West Youth Forum (ANWYF) has called for the immediate and safe release of Kayode and the other victims, warning that the abduction represents a serious threat to local peace and security.
