Ogun Police Warn Mirabel Could Face Legal Action If Rape Claims Are False

Ogun State Police Command has pledged to take decisive action in the alleged rape case involving TikTok creator Mirabel.

The case drew national attention after a video of Mirabel claiming she was sexually assaulted in her home went viral. She reported the incident at Ibafo Police Station and was later referred to the Ogijo Police Division for further investigation.

In a phone interview with Channels TV, Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer Oluseyi Babaseyi said the case will be thoroughly investigated. He explained that if Mirabel’s allegations are confirmed, the suspected perpetrator will be arrested and prosecuted.

He added that if the claims are found to be false, Mirabel herself could face legal action. “If Mirabel is found telling the truth, the perpetrator will be arrested and prosecuted, but if it is a false alarm, she will face the law,” Babaseyi said.

The police have called on anyone with credible information about the incident to come forward and assist with the ongoing investigation.
