Nicki Minaj Applauds Donald Trump’s Statement Condemning Christian Persecution in Nigeria
Nicki Minaj has publicly expressed her support for Donald Trump following his condemnation of global Christian persecution, sharing her reaction in a heartfelt post on X.
The rapper posted a screenshot of Trump’s statement from Truth Social and wrote:
“Reading this made me feel a deep sense of gratitude. We live in a country where we can freely worship God. No group should ever be persecuted for practicing their religion. We don’t have to share the same beliefs to respect each other.
Numerous countries around the world are facing this horror, and it’s dangerous to pretend we don’t notice. Thank you to The President and his team for taking this seriously. God bless every persecuted Christian. Let’s remember to lift them up in prayer.”
In Trump’s message, he described Christianity as facing “an existential threat in Nigeria” and revealed plans to designate the country a “Country of Particular Concern” due to ongoing killings targeting Christians.
Minaj’s post highlights her strong belief in religious freedom and gratitude toward the U.S. administration for acknowledging what she called a “global crisis” of faith-based persecution.
