“Juju Man Tried To Cast A Spell On Me, But It Didn’t Work” – Nathaniel Bassey
Nathaniel Bassey has recounted a disturbing encounter with a man he described as a “juju man,” who allegedly tried to cast a spell on him but failed.
The incident happened on an expressway and was reportedly the second time the same man had approached him. During a worship session, Bassey said the man knocked on his car and began performing what he called an enchantment, apparently attempting to control or influence him.
“I just stood there and laughed,” Bassey said, explaining that he responded by speaking Bible verses aloud. He cited a passage that declares, “Touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm.”
He said the man lingered at the scene, seemingly waiting for the spell to take effect, but Bassey remained confident, quoting another scripture: “There is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel.”
Eventually, Bassey stepped out of his car and commanded the man to leave immediately: “Get out of here, you dirty devil, quick.”
Reflecting on the encounter, he admitted he regretted not holding the man until law enforcement could intervene. Bassey emphasized that his account was not meant to glorify evil, but to highlight the presence of spiritual wickedness and the protective power of faith.
He added, “This was the second time the same guy came. He came and knocked, casting an enchantment to influence me, commanding me to do something, but I just stood there and laughed… I’m not saying this to boast, but while we do not glorify the devil, there is wickedness in the world.”
