Edo Assembly Summons Natasha Irobosa Over Misconduct Allegations

Edo State House of Assembly has summoned Hon. Natasha Osawaru Irobosa, wife of music star Tuface Idibia, to respond to allegations of misconduct said to have brought disrepute to the Assembly.

Natasha, who represents Egor Constituency, came under scrutiny during Tuesday’s plenary after Speaker Blessing Agbebaku noted that she had been trending negatively across the media. According to him, her actions raised serious concerns about the public image of the House.

She has been directed to appear before the House Committee on Ethics and Privileges within one week to defend herself against the allegations.

The committee is also expected to determine whether disciplinary measures should be taken against her and submit its findings to the House within two weeks.
