Don Jazzy Commits N20 Million to Tech Access Project to Empower Nigerian Youths

Music entrepreneur Don Jazzy has pledged N20 million to support the Tech Access Project, an initiative aimed at providing 10,000 laptops to Nigerian youths.

The project was introduced through an open letter by Ayilola Ayotomiwa, who called on Don Jazzy to help empower young Nigerians in technology, design, music production, and digital entrepreneurship. Ayotomiwa emphasized the importance of laptops as essential tools for building skills and creating opportunities in today’s digital world.

“Our vision is simple but powerful: to give young Nigerians the tools they need to build their future. A laptop isn’t just a gadget—it’s a lifeline for those passionate about tech, design, music, and digital entrepreneurship,” Ayotomiwa said.

He added, “You’ve always believed in young people, from mentoring creatives to supporting startups and inspiring your fans. With your backing, we can open doors for thousands of Nigerian youths to learn, create, and earn from their talents.”

Don Jazzy applauded the initiative but noted the ambitious target of 10,000 laptops. He said he could contribute N20 million and share the project on his social media platforms, hoping others would join the cause to reach the goal.

“Bro, I hail o. Your initiative is commendable. But sir, 10,000 laptops is not beans. At this time, I can only support with N20 million and a repost. Hopefully, other well-meaning Nigerians will step in to help achieve the goal,” he wrote.
