Davido’s Alleged Daughter Publicly Requests DNA Test to Confirm Relationship With Artiste
Anu Adeleke, who has claimed to be the daughter of Afrobeats star Davido, has publicly asked the singer to undergo a DNA test to confirm her identity. She shared her request on Instagram on Thursday, posting a picture of herself along with a heartfelt message.
In her post, Anu reflected on the challenges she has faced growing up, including bullying at school for claiming Davido as her father. She described the emotional distress she experienced and the steps she took to protect her mental health, noting that despite the difficulties, she excelled academically and became class prefect.
Explaining her request, she wrote:
“As I transition into a young woman, I am respectfully asking Mr David Adeleke Singer @davido for a DNA test to establish my identity. This test is between my dad and I. It is something I want. It is something that’s the right thing to do. Please sir, consider my request once you read this post. I also sent it to your DM.”
She also expressed gratitude to Nigerians who have supported her over the years:
“Thank you to all Nigerians who have given me emotional support for the last 7 years. This DNA test is the right thing to do for me.”
Anu’s post highlights her desire to formally confirm her identity while emphasising her growth, resilience, and commitment to her studies and well-being.
