Olukoyede orders probe of N15m Bobrisky’s allegation against EFCC Officers
Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ola Olukoyede has ordered immediate investigation of alleged bribery allegations imputed to some officers of the Commission by Idris Okuneye (a.ka.Bobrisky) in a viral video circulating across the country. Okuneye, an ex-convict had alleged in the video powered by Martins Vincent Otse (a.k.a VeryDarkMan) that some unnamed officers of the EFCC collected the sum of N15,000,000 (Fifteen Million Naira) only from him to drop money laundering charges against him. In a swift reaction, the EFCC’s boss has constituted a team of Investigators to critically look into the allegations. To this end, the Commission hereby invites both Okuneye and Otse to make themselves available at its Lagos Directorate to assist investigators unearth the alleged bribery. The EFCC wishes to assure the public that the allegations would be thoroughly investigated and the result of the findings made public accordingly. Female Fuji act, Fatimoh Ajoke also known as Cinderella has made moves to resuscitate her musical career. Ailing Nollywood actor receives N3.4m donations, bursts into tears
Nollywood actor Bisola Badmus has received a donation of N3.4 million in her battle against brain tumour. The lump sum was delivered to the quintessential actor by her colleague and Movie producer Kunle Afod. The sum of N3.4million is an addiction to the N1.3million that was donated to her a few weeks ago. Badmus, in a video posted on KunleAfodTV YouTube channel, bursts into tears, just as she thanked the donors for their supports. She said; “A oni fi iru e gba o.” Meaning, the donors will not go through such trauma. Handi evicted from BBNaija 2024
Handi has been evicted from the Big Brother Naija 2024 No Loose Guard’ house. The newly evicted housemate was nominated for possible eviction along with her sister Wanni, Kassia Shaun on Monday. Handi has joined Ben, Chizoba who were evicted last Sunday. The nominations on Monday night took a new twist as housemates this knew who nominated them for eviction. Thirteen housemates are left in the house following eviction of Handi.
KSA celebrates 78th birthday
African music icon Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye (MFR) popularly known as King Sunny Ade on Sunday celebrated his 78th birthday. The master guitarist announce his new year on his Instagram field. An elated KSA wrote; “Another year. “Another grace. “Another reason to be grateful to God… “Birthday blessings. “The life we have is the blessing itself.” King Sunny Ade, born on 22 September 1946, is regarded as one of the first African pop musicians to gain international success and has been called one of the most influential musicians of all time. KSA formed his backing band in 1967, eventually known as his African Beats. He signed to Island Records in 1982 and achieved international success with the albums Juju Music (1982) and Synchro System (1983); the latter garnered him a Grammy nomination, a first for a Nigerian artist. His 1998 album Odu also garnered a Grammy nomination.
