Bobrisky: Court fines VeryDarkMan N500m
An Ikeja High Court has ordered an online activist, Vincent Otse (alias Very Dark Man) to remove defamatory posts against a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana and his musician son, Folarin otherwise called Falz. Justice Matthias Dawodu also ordered VDM to bring down the alleged defamatory video which he made on September 24 against the Falanas. The court also ordered the service of originating summons against VDM through his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju within 14 day. The judge said, “The defendant, his agents and privies are hereby restrained from further releasing, publishing or circulating any defamatory videos, comments about the applicant. He is to bring down the defamatory video about the applicant which was published on September 24 on all his online social media handles pending compliance with the pre-action protocol of the court. Leave is hereby granted to the applicant to serve the pre-action bundles, originating processes and all other court processes between parties herein on the defendant by substituted means through his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju. The applicant must file and serve the pre-action bundles, originating processes and other accompanying processes on the defendant within 14 days.” The court made the orders following an ex parte originating application made by Mr Falana and his son against the actions of VDM where he published “unverified audio recording of a one-sided narrative by cross dresser Bobrisky,” alleging perversion of justice by the family. Mr Falana had in a lawsuit numbered ID/8586GCM/2024, filed against VDM, sought the order of the court to award a sum of N500 million fine for defamation of character against him. Mr Falana in the lawsuit, also prayed the order of the court, directing the defendant to publish an apology on his social media handles for the defamatory words contained in the viral video. The Court also ordered VDM to pay N500 million in damages to human rights advocate Femi Falana and his son, Falz. Recall previously that Bobrisky’s voice could be heard explaining how he paid the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, the sum of N15 million to clear his name money laundering case, which was levied against him, amongst others.
Breaking: Banky W, wife welcome second baby
Nigerian singer Banky W and his wife, actress Adesua Etomi have welcomed their second child. Taking to Instagram on Monday, Mrs Wellington revealed she welcomed her baby. She shared some pictures taken of her in a gown cradling her baby bump. “First, we had each other, then we had your brother. “Then God sent you and now? “We have everything,” the wrote on her Instagram page. The couple had their first child, a baby boy in 2021.
Why I didn’t attend my first wife’s 50th birthday party -Mercy Aigbe’s hubby
Nigerian movie marketer, Kazim Adeoti has addressed why he did not celebrate his first wife, Olufunsho, on social media on her 50th birthday. Olufunsho turned 50 last week and had a party in the US, however Adeoti was conspicuously absent. He was dragged on social media for failing to attend the party or celebrating her online. In a statement he released on his Instagram page on Sunday evening, the filmmaker said the mother of his four kids asked him not to attend the party nor celebrate her on social media and he had to respect her wishes. According to him, “This is to address recent media comments surrounding Mrs Okufunsi Adeoti’s 50th birthday celebration, which was held in the US last weekend. “For the avoidance of doubt, the celebrant and I spoke about her plan for her 50th birthday party and how she wished to celebrate it. She wanted a party but, shockingly she specifically said that I shout not attend. I asked her again to be sure in the presence of our children and to everybody’s surprise, her response was consistent -she NO! “That was her wish, and I would not want to be embarrassed by attending a party that the celebrant asked me not to attend, so I stayed back in Nigeria. “Regardless of how painful her position was to me, I ensured towards the success of the party. I also informed and ensured that of our families and friends in the US honoured her big day. “As I always do, I wished her a happy birthday offline, and she acknowledged pleasantly. “Olufunso remains a significant part of my life. I can never wish her anything other that what is beautiful in life because she is the proud mother of our four lovely children. That can never be undone-in fact it’s one of the most important things in my life! “I therefore would appeal to members of the public, especially on social media, particularly the Facebook community, to desist from making unfound and distorted comments about us. “The best way to support us is to please let peace reign as social media is not real life. “Furthermore, as I always do, I wished her a happy birthday personally via sms, to which she replied on same day. She had also warned me not to post her photographs on my media accounts. I had to respect her wish and this understandable.”
Nollywood movie, Iyawo Meji makes wave on YouTube
A Yoruba movie produced by Nollywood actor Tosin Oke titled; Iyawo Meji is currently making waves on YouTube. The movie which featured seasoned Nollywood actor Mide Martins Abiodun has had a record viewers on the internet window. Actors such as Akeem Ogara, Zainab Bakara, Akande Rolland, Zainab Bakare and Feranmi Oyalowo were majo casts in the movie. The movie is produced by quintessential actor Tosin Oke and directed by Tunde Anjola Tosin Oke has previously starred and produced Ariran, Oloore (The Benefactor), Fowosere, Ilara Obinrin, Pemisire, Dark side and Player to mention a few. Bobrisky: I charge $100,000 for influencing
Popular Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has revealed that he charges the sim of $100,000 for influencing on social media platforms. This, according to him, was one of his genuine sources of wealth contrary to people’s belief that he’s into money laundering and fraudulent acts. This was contained in a video posted by controversial social media critic, Martin Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan on Monday, October 7, 20204. According to VDM, the call recording was made on May 16, 2024. “All the money I have is genuine and the sources are like most of my influencing [sic], like that day I called you that one woman wanted to pay me £10,000, you know I told you that it’s for influencing. “So, people don’t know how I charge a lot of money for influencing but I made them understand I charge as far as $100,000 to influence,” Bobrisky allegedly said in a recorded voice call with a male contact whose name remains unknown. The crossdresser who was convicted for mutilating the naira in April and sentenced to six months in jail, noted that he had access to his mobile phone while in custody. The male contact had initially asked if Bobrisky was out of prison before he responded in the negative, then he said he hadn’t been talking to people over the phone. “People have been sending me so many messages but I’ve not been responding because I don’t want anybody to know that I have my phone. I only want to talk to somebody that I know I can trust. “So if you think you cannot do it, all fingers are equal. Some others do it and trust me, God blessed the hustle. Obviously, I met a very terrible judge who wasn’t fair at all,” he added.

Sooj and Anita have been evicted from the Big Brother Naija 2024 No Loose Guard’ house. Sooj is the last born of five, he has two brothers and two sisters. Davido drops new music video
Nigerian megastar, David Adeleke aka Davido, on Wednesday released the official music video of Joy with Angelique Kidjo. The musician made the announcement on his official X handle. He wrote; “Joy’s music video with @angeliquekidjo is out now!!!” Similarly, Angelique Kidjo, who featured by Davido, also took to her X handle to promote the new music video. “The “JOY” video with @davido directed by master @DammyTwitch is out now!!! “We received so much love for that song that we wanted to celebrate JOY once more with you! “Thank you to all the inspiring people both in front and behind the camera.” The music video release is expected to propel the song to even greater heights.
