Pasuma, Taiye Currency end dispute in Saudi

Fuji Music act, Wasiu Alabi popularly known as Pasuma has ended the dispute with his godson, Taiwo Akande Adebisi aka Taye Currency in Saudi Arabia. The Ibadan-based musician Currency was seen appealling to Pasuma in a viral video on Wednesday. Taiye Currency in the video acknowledged Pasuma as his boss, saying Pasuma was instrumental to his success in the entertainment industry. “I have been with Pasuma since 1993 and I accorded him respect since then and I don’t expect upcoming ones to disrespect me also. “Paso is my godfather in music industry, just as King Wasiu Ayinde is the godfather to Pasuma. “So, I want to appeal to our fans to forget about what happened in the past,” Taiye Currency said in Yoruba language. Both musicans embrassed each others in the video to signify the end of the quamire.

The event, scheduled to take place from March 26th to 29th, 2025 aims to train young creatives, foster international collaborations, and further enhance the capabilities of creators and professionals along the value chain of music production and business. This will open doors for them to promote their music in different parts of the world.” Some of the top artists who have confirmed their participation in the conference and recording camp are Juma Jux from Tanzania, Nadia Nakai from South Africa and DJ Neptune from Nigeria. Ivory Coast will be well represented by global music superstars like the AFRIMA Award winner Didi B, Himra, Suspect 95, Kikimoteleba, Goulam, and Gabin Bao. Other notable participants include Bizzle Osikoya, Co-founder of The Plug Entertainment, and Sesan Adeniji, General Manager of Vybz FM. From Algeria, DJ MohGreen will bring his expertise, while Eric Bellamy from Live Nation Paris, France will contribute his knowledge of the global music industry. Sonia Aimy from Canada and Wendy Harawa from Malawi are also expected. In addition to the workshop and music camp, Nkong said a welcome Industry party is scheduled for Wednesday to officially receive the participants. Portable begs as Police declare him wanted

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has reacted after he was declared wanted by the Ogun State Police Command. Portable was declared wanted by the police for his alleged involvement in the assault on Ogun State government officials carrying out their lawful duties. In a series of posts on his Instagram story, the Zazu crooner denied the allegations against him, claiming the arrest warrant was meant to attack him. “I didn’t kill anybody. If anything happens to me, there will be trouble. They should post the evidence of where I fought them at my bar. They are evil people, and they are lying against me. Just kill me and let everywhere scatter,” he wrote. In another post, Portable begged the Ogun State government to forgive him, claiming he was under spiritual attack. “All this evil thing wey dey happen to me na spiritual attack. God save me. I’m facing a lot of sicknesses all over my body. I’m taking care of myself. Pain in my body. Make Ogun State government forgive me,” he pleaded.
