Bella Shmurda Bemoans Rising Cost Of Music Promotion, Says Videos Now Start At N20 Million
Bella Shmurda has opened up about the financial struggles musicians face in promoting their work, especially albums. In a recent interview, the singer explained that the high cost of music promotion has made many artists hesitant to release full projects. He noted that producing and promoting multiple songs at once demands a massive budget. “To release an album, you need a huge budget, unlike singles. Because for albums, you’re promoting 10 to 14 songs all at once. It’s a lot,” Bella said. He revealed that music video production is one of the biggest expenses, with the least cost now around N20 million. “Promoting songs on radio, shooting videos for five or six tracks—it’s a lot. These days, the least you can spend on a music video is N20 million. So how many artists can afford to shoot five videos?” Bella emphasized that the rising costs are discouraging many talented artists from putting out albums, pushing them instead to focus on singles.

Kemi Olunloyo Claims Regina Daniels Missing, Says Actress Battling Drug Issues And Lost Child Custody
Journalist Dr. Kemi Olunloyo has stirred intense reactions online after making disturbing allegations about Nollywood actress Regina Daniels during a live session on social media. According to Olunloyo, she recently communicated with Regina’s husband, billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, who allegedly confirmed that the situation in their household is far worse than what the public sees. “I spoke with Ned today, and I’m reading his messages right here. What’s happening online is only 10 percent of the real story,” she claimed. Olunloyo further alleged that Regina has been struggling privately but has refused to seek professional help. “She doesn’t believe she has a drug problem, and that’s where everything begins to fall apart. That’s how it started with Whitney and many other celebrities who ended up dead,” she said. The journalist went on to claim that Regina has been unreachable for three days, leaving her children in the care of nannies. “The kids can’t reach her. It’s been three days, and no one knows where she is. The children are with the nannies,” Olunloyo stated. She also alleged that the actress has temporarily lost custody of her children in the United States. “Since she has a husband and nannies, the kids are probably with them, but she won’t be allowed to have custody right now,” she added, expressing concern that Regina could harm herself if not found soon.

The announcement was made by Deputy Governor and Commissioner for Sports, Kola Adewusi, during a courtesy visit from the Osun State chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN). Adewusi explained that the appointment is part of the state government’s broader plan to revitalize sports in Osun and establish a sustainable funding model through partnerships with private and public stakeholders. “We are in the advanced stages of creating the Osun State Sports Commission, which will coordinate sports administration, development, and policy implementation,” he said. “The Sports Trust Fund is intended to attract support from sports philanthropists both within and outside the state, ensuring long-term financing and growth for sports initiatives.” He revealed that Davido accepted the role without hesitation, noting that the music star’s global influence and connections are expected to draw significant investment and attention to Osun’s sports sector. Adewusi also highlighted the ongoing renovation of Osogbo Township Stadium, which is expected to meet Olympic standards once completed. “The project aims to transform the stadium into a world-class facility capable of hosting national and international events,” he added. With Davido leading the Sports Trust Fund, the government hopes to usher in a new era of sports development and infrastructure transformation in Osun State. The appointment has sparked discussions online, particularly regarding Governor Adeleke’s practice of assigning family members to strategic positions. In 2023, he appointed another nephew, Tunji Adeleke, son of former governor Isiaka Adeleke, as Chairman of the Board of Local Government.
