Bukayo Saka Signs New Five-Year Arsenal Deal Until 2031

Bukayo Saka has put pen to paper on a new five-year contract with Arsenal, committing his future to the club until 2031. The 24-year-old’s previous deal was due to expire in June 2027, but Arsenal acted early to secure him amid widespread interest from clubs across England and Europe.

Since breaking into the first team, Saka has become a crucial part of Mikel Arteta’s squad. This season, he is helping Arsenal chase an unprecedented quadruple, with the team currently leading the Premier League, reaching the last-16 of the Champions League, advancing to the fifth round of the FA Cup, and preparing for the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

Reports from BBC Sport indicate that Saka’s new contract makes him the club’s highest-paid player, with weekly wages believed to exceed £300,000.

He follows a number of Arsenal players who recently extended their deals, including William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhães, Ethan Nwaneri, and Myles Lewis-Skelly.

Saka has made 239 appearances for Arsenal, scoring 77 goals. This season, he has netted seven times in 33 matches, although he is currently experiencing a 15-game goal drought, last scoring in a 2-0 win over Brentford in December 2025.
