Netanyahu Orders Heavy Strikes On Gaza After Hamas Accused Of Violating Ceasefire

Netanyahu Orders Heavy Strikes On Gaza After Hamas Accused Of Violating Ceasefire

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has directed the military to launch intense strikes on the Gaza Strip after accusing Hamas of breaching the US-brokered ceasefire. In a statement from his office on Tuesday, Netanyahu said the order followed security consultations, instructing the military to “immediately carry out powerful strikes in the Gaza Strip.” No further details were provided. The directive came shortly after Hamas announced it was delaying the handover of another hostage’s remains, alleging that Israel had violated the terms of the truce. The group warned that any further Israeli escalation would interfere with efforts to locate and recover more bodies. “We will postpone the handover that was scheduled for today due to the occupation’s violations,” Hamas’s armed wing said, claiming that any aggression would hinder recovery operations. The renewed tension erupted after Hamas on Monday returned what it said was the 16th of 28 hostage bodies agreed to be handed over under the October 10 ceasefire. But Israeli officials later discovered that the remains were partial fragments of Ofir Tzarfati, a hostage whose body had already been recovered from Gaza two years earlier. Netanyahu’s office denounced the act as a “clear violation of the agreement,” accusing Hamas of deliberate deceit. Israeli government spokeswoman Shosh Bedrosian claimed that Hamas staged the handover, saying the group “dug a hole, placed the partial remains of Ofir inside, covered it back up, and handed it to the Red Cross.” She stressed that Israel’s response would be made “in full coordination with US President Donald Trump and his team.” Meanwhile, the Hostages and Missing Families Forum urged the government to act firmly, calling Hamas’s actions a deliberate provocation. “In light of Hamas’s severe breach of the agreement, the Israeli government cannot and must not ignore this,” the group said. “It must act decisively against these violations to protect the integrity of the ceasefire and ensure justice for the hostages.”

Garba Muhammad Raises Alarm Over Terrorist Threats To Bomb National Assembly Complex

Garba Muhammad Raises Alarm Over Terrorist Threats To Bomb National Assembly Complex

Chairman of the House Committee on Internal Security, Garba Muhammad, has disclosed that the National Assembly has received terrorist threats to bomb the complex. Speaking during a public hearing on a bill to establish the Legislative Security Directorate, aimed at enhancing safety for lawmakers, staff, and visitors, the lawmaker warned that the situation demands urgent action. Garba explained that the National Assembly has been dealing with rising security challenges, including vehicle theft, vandalism, fake identification cards, and infiltration by unauthorized individuals. He referenced a similar incident in May 2021, when security agencies warned of a planned Boko Haram attack on the National Assembly and other strategic government locations in Abuja. That alert led to restricted access to the complex and calls for stronger protection of national assets. Garba stressed the need for immediate fortification of the legislative complex, warning that any security breach could disrupt Nigeria’s democratic process. “We have received threats from terrorists to bomb the National Assembly Complex and threats from protesters to lock up the National Assembly. Legislators are exposed to threats from constituents and others who gain easy access to their offices without formal appointments. “It is clear that with the prevailing security challenges, failure to act decisively could halt legislative operations. If that happens, there will be no representation, no oversight, no annual budget, no plenary — and that would destabilize democracy and the entire system,” he said.

Elon Musk Unveils Grokipedia, Aims To Challenge Wikipedia With ‘Truth-Based’ Alternative

Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, has unveiled Grokipedia, a new online encyclopedia created to challenge Wikipedia, which Musk has repeatedly accused of promoting ideological bias. Launched on Monday, the debut version—tagged 0.1—already contained more than 885,000 articles by evening. While that’s far fewer than Wikipedia’s over seven million English entries, Musk touted Grokipedia as a more truthful alternative. He revealed that an upgraded version, Grokipedia 1.0, is on the way and promised it would be “10X better” than the current version, which he claimed is already “better than Wikipedia.” “The goal of Grok and Grokipedia.com is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We will never be perfect, but we shall nonetheless strive towards that goal,” Musk wrote on X following the launch. According to him, the release had been delayed from its initial September date to “purge out the propaganda,” emphasizing his vision of building a fact-driven, bias-free knowledge platform.

Tosin Silverdam Accuses Regina Daniels Of Faking House Purchase Amid Marital Crisis

Popular blogger Tosin Silverdam has claimed that Nollywood actress Regina Daniels did not actually buy the house she recently flaunted online, calling the move a case of social media showoff. Weeks after reports emerged that Regina had left her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, following a marital dispute, she shared photos of a new home, attracting congratulatory messages from fans. Her brother, Sammy West, also appeared to throw shade at Ned after the post. However, Tosin Silverdam dismissed the claim in a new video, alleging that the house wasn’t truly hers but an attempt to seek validation and appear happy online. He also claimed that Regina’s children remain with Ned, suggesting that despite appearances, she hasn’t really left her husband. “She no buy house. You noticed they didn’t show the inside of the house. All this is clout chasing and social media validation. There’s a lot going on in that family. She’s trying to make herself happy. Her children are still with the husband, that’s another sad part. Can she live without her children? She’s trying to prove she can leave without her husband. They no dey leave Ned Nwoko, you just have to stay there. It will be very difficult.”   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Instablog9ja (@instablog9ja)

Rada Cheang Blasts Michael Blackson’s Apology, Says She’s Moving On for Her Son

Michael Blackson’s ex-girlfriend, Rada Cheang, has slammed his public apology after he admitted to impregnating another woman, calling it “pathetic” and saying she is moving on peacefully. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Rada emphasized that her priority is her 4-month-old son, not the drama surrounding her past relationship. Reflecting on her time with Blackson, she admitted she had been warned their relationship could be difficult but chose to love and understand him deeply, seeing beyond his flaws. She described their relationship as a “circus” and acknowledged staying too long despite knowing she wasn’t his type. Rada also took responsibility for her role, highlighting that she supported him fully and embraced her identity as a “real woman.” She wrote: “I don’t normally respond but let’s just agree that was the most pathetic post or apology ever. I’m walking in peace, guided by God’s grace. My energy belongs to my 4-month-old son, not to negativity.” She added: “When love runs that deep, you stop seeing the man and start seeing the boy who just wanted to be loved – and that’s what breaks you. I didn’t just love, I understood – the pain, the innocence, the child in him.” Rada concluded: “With that said, I take full accountability for staying in the circus too long. His type was never me because I’m a real woman. This is what happens when you hold a man down 100%.”

Trump Bans Soyinka From US

Trump Bans Soyinka From US

The United States under President Donald Trump has revoked the visa of globally renowned scholar, Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka. The scholar announced this at Kongi’s Harvest Gallery, Freedom Park, Lagos Island, on Tuesday. He said he was unaware of any wrongdoing that could have warranted the revocation. “It is necessary for me to hold this conference so that people in the United States who are expecting me for this event or that event do not waste their time.” “I have no visa; I am banned, obviously, from the United States. And if you want to see me, you know where to find me,” he said. According to Soyinka, the US Consulate informed him of the revocation via a letter. “I’m still looking into my past history… I don’t have any past criminal record or even a felony or misdemeanour to qualify for the revocation.” “I’ve started looking back—have I ever misbehaved toward the United States of America? Do I have a history? Have I been convicted? Have I gone against the law anywhere?” It can be recalled Soyinka in 2017 during the United States election in a viral video said he would tear his Green Card if Donald Trump becomes the President.

Tuoyo Ideh Alleges Brutal Beating By NDLEA During Proxy Nightclub Raid

Former Big Brother Naija contestant Tuoyo Ideh has accused NDLEA operatives of assaulting him during a raid at Proxy Nightclub in Victoria Island, Lagos. The raid, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, October 26, led to the arrest of socialite Pretty Mike and over 100 guests. In a video shared on Instagram Monday night, Tuoyo said he was at the club as a promoter, helping clients book tables, when officers, accompanied by military personnel, stormed the venue. He claimed that even after passing the initial security check, he was forcibly taken into custody with other patrons. While detained, he said he was beaten with sticks and ordered to roll on the ground. The assault reportedly only ended after a female officer intervened, though he was still made to perform frog jumps despite severe pain. “I’m a promoter; if you see me outside, it’s for business. I hadn’t even been inside 30 minutes when everyone was told to go down. I saw people in black uniforms and military personnel. They took our phones, searched me from head to toe, even my socks, and found nothing. Then they made us sit outside on the floor, which was humiliating,” he said. “After a while, a woman pointed at me. Five men rushed me, slapped me, and one said, ‘Na you go post abi? Shoot him.’ They hit me with sticks, kicked me, and slapped me. I was rolling on the floor struggling to breathe. I’ve never been beaten like that in my life.” He added: “Nigeria finally happened to me 💔 😥🥺. I can’t even stand or lie down properly. The beating left my legs, hands, back, and head in unbearable pain. Yesterday, I felt completely helpless. The intimidation and humiliation were overwhelming. We live in a country where human rights and freedom of speech are routinely ignored.”   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by Tuoyo Ideh (@itstuoyoofficial)
