Annie And I Aren’t Friends, Yvonne Jegede Says, Denies Backstabber Claims

Yvonne Jegede has addressed criticism over her appearance at an event with 2Baba and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, clarifying her relationship with 2Baba’s ex-wife, Annie Macaulay.

She stated that she and Annie are not friends, noting that they only worked together on the “African Queen” video 21 years ago.

Yvonne described being labeled a backstabber as unfair and stressed that bloggers are prioritizing clicks over the significance of her 20-year stage celebration, which highlights her philanthropic work.

“There was never any reason for us to unfollow each other. I’ve never followed her before, and she has never followed me. Apart from the ‘African Queen’ video, I don’t think anybody has seen us together before. I walked into a studio, shot my part, and left. That was it. It’s been 21 years. I may have seen her two or three times in my entire life. I found it very disrespectful of bloggers to call me a backstabber and a disloyal friend,” she explained.
