AGN President Abubakar Yakubu Involved In Fatal Car Accident In Surulere

Abubakar Yakubu, the newly elected President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), who narrowly defeated Rita Daniels with 116 votes to 113 — three votes were invalid — has reportedly been involved in a fatal car accident in Surulere, Lagos.

Preliminary reports suggest the crash claimed the life of one individual.

Yakubu has been taken into custody at the Barracks Police Station in Surulere as authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
