Davido slams INEC over Edo Election

Nigerian singer David Adedeji Adeleke aka Davido has slammed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the conduct of the Edo State Gubernatorial election.

Davido, 31, on Sunday took the Commission to the cleaners.

“My mom is from Edo for those wondering why I’m interested in the election … but we as Nigerians should be concerned sha.

“@inecnigeria shame on you I know how many times I had to come in here and rant before they got it right in Osun!

“It’s really bad. God help us,” the Songwriter fumes on his official X handle.

Against Davido’s favoured candidate, the All Progressive Congress candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo was declared winner of the election.

Okpebholo polled a total of 291,667 votes to defeat Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with 247, 274 votes.
