Senate Approves Taiwo Oyedele As Minister Of State For Finance In Tinubu Administration

The Senate has given its approval for Taiwo Oyedele to join the Federal Executive Council as a minister-designate under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

His confirmation came after lawmakers endorsed the nomination during the Committee of the Whole, with Senate President Godswill Akpabio announcing the decision following a voice vote by senators.

Oyedele is tipped to assume office as Minister of State for Finance, a role currently held by Doris Uzoka-Anite.

President Bola Tinubu had earlier submitted Oyedele’s name to the Senate, requesting legislative approval shortly after naming him for the position.
