President Tinubu Holds Closed-Door with Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed

President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting privately with Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock.

The governor briefed the president on the security situation in Bauchi, where recent disturbances have raised concerns. He highlighted the activities of bandits in Alkaleri Local Government Area as a critical issue requiring immediate attention.

In a separate statement to state House correspondents, Bala Mohammed addressed the ongoing wave of defections from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). He stressed that while individuals are free to switch parties, he remains committed to the PDP and will not be among the defectors.
