Prime Boy Blasts Mohbad’s Family Over Alleged Misuse Of Donations Three Years After His Death

Singer Prime Boy has openly condemned the family of his late friend Mohbad, accusing them of misusing donations from Nigerians following the musician’s death.

Speaking during a protest in Lagos, Prime Boy and demonstrators carried placards highlighting the alleged wrongdoing. He claimed that while Mohbad remains unburied three years after his death in 2023, his family has been enjoying the donated funds.

“Mohbad has not been buried after three years. His family, brother and sisters, are enjoying the money people donated. I suffered for this. Mohbad’s family, do the right thing. Nigerian government, do the right thing,” he said in a video shared online.

Prime Boy also recounted the challenges he faced with police after Mohbad’s death, urging authorities to formally clear his name and confirm his innocence. “The police should post that I am innocent and tell me sorry. I am not asking for much,” he stated.

Prime Boy was one of several public figures questioned by law enforcement after Mohbad’s passing. Three years on, the late Marlian signee remains unburied, sparking continued public outrage and protests over both the handling of the donations and the circumstances surrounding his death.
