Toyin Abraham’s directorial debut, Oversabi Aunty, has soared at the box office, becoming Nollywood’s second-highest-grossing film of the weekend in 2025, raking in over N382 million in just 11 days.
The film follows a well-meaning but overly involved aunty who constantly tries to solve everyone’s problems, resulting in a mix of hilarious misunderstandings and heartfelt revelations.
Oversabi Aunty premiered at an advanced screening on December 18, generating excitement ahead of its nationwide release on December 19.
