“I Will Beat You Mercilessly” – Nwabali Blasts Lege Miami Over Alleged Insult To Late Father
Super Eagles goalkeeper Nwabali has slammed content creator Lege Miami over comments he claims disrespected his late father.
Taking to his Instagram Story, Nwabali demanded that Lege remove his father’s name from any content, writing: “LegeMiamii, remove my late dad’s name from your mouth if you’re doing your content. If you don’t respect people’s dad, you should learn to respect the dead. I’m not your regular type of footballer. I’ll beat you mercilessly. You’re free to insult me, but leave my late dad out of it.”
Lege Miami responded with a lengthy voice note via direct message. He apologized if mentioning Nwabali’s father caused offense but also criticized the goalkeeper’s behavior on the pitch. Lege accused Nwabali of being controlling, rude to teammates, and acting arrogantly during games, arguing that his actions affected team performance.
He further warned Nwabali not to message him again, saying: “You’re not in a position to come to my DM. If not because of Osimhen and Bassy, I would rubbish you. You need to make a public apology to Nigerians and show humility.”
The exchange highlights a tense clash between the two personalities, with Nwabali defending the honor of his late father and Lege standing by his content while questioning Nwabali’s conduct. The incident has sparked widespread discussion on social media about respect, boundaries, and accountability for public figures.
