Ronaldo Rejects Claims Messi Is The Greatest Of All Time

Cristiano Ronaldo has downplayed suggestions that Lionel Messi is the greatest footballer of all time.

During an interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, the Al Nassr star said he does not accept claims that the Argentine is better than him.

“Messi better than me? I don’t agree with that opinion,” said the 40-year-old. “I don’t want to be humble.”

The long-standing rivalry between the two icons has divided football fans for nearly 20 years. Both have dominated world football with numerous titles for club and country, though Messi holds eight Ballon d’Or awards compared to Ronaldo’s five.
