Nigerian Man Festus Awolowo Etame Sends Follow-Up Marriage Proposal To Tiwa Savage

A Nigerian man, Festus Awolowo Etame, an Isoko native from Delta State, has once again captured public attention by sending a heartfelt marriage proposal to award-winning singer Tiwa Savage.

The letter, dated October 23, 2025, comes just a week after his initial proposal. Festus, who identifies as a Management Consultant, Author, and Publisher, expressed deep admiration for the Afrobeats star, insisting his intentions are genuine and not motivated by fame or wealth.

In the letter, Festus advised Tiwa against marrying into a polygamous home, warning that such an arrangement could disrupt her career and personal peace. He encouraged her to choose a Christian, monogamous husband who would love her and embrace her son as his own.

“I’m not coming to chop and run,” he wrote, promising that a committed, faithful marriage would bring her love, stability, and fulfillment. He also highlighted the importance of sexual satisfaction in a monogamous union, saying it fosters peace and contentment.

Drawing from his own upbringing in a polygamous household, Festus cautioned that rivalry and jealousy among co-wives could negatively impact her life and music career. He also shared that he was previously married to a Yoruba woman, who passed away in 2019, and expressed hope that Tiwa could fill the void in his life if it aligns with God’s will.
